Riverview Animal Hospital North en Durango

I have had a bad experience with all of the veternarians in Farmington, NM. I needed to take my pet in urgently and decided to give Durango a try, the drive was well worth it. I could tell immedietly that the staff actually cared about the animals and it wasnt just dollar signs to them. They were completly transparent with the cost and provided me with options. I reccommend you make the drive if you dont live in Durango because you wont be sorry. Thank you Riverview Animal Hospital for helping Apollo and I.

Couple months ago I took my cat in to see what was going on with is digestive system. Spent about 2 grand getting blood work and x-rays for them to tell me he's fine and just constipated. Went to get a second opinion and found out it's actually a stomach tumor. He's been lethargic and not feeling well for months because of what Riverview told me. Extremely disappointed at the lack of attention to detail. Especially because you can feel the tumor in his stomach. Way I er priced and they're just trying to get a check. Go somewhere else for your pet's sake.

Very friendly and attentive staff, along with knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy vets qualify Riverview Animal Hospital North as my go-to veterinarian. To be fair, they're also located about 10 blocks from where I live, so my dog and I enjoy walking there for free social visits and weight checks. The front desk staff remembered my dog's name after just one visit, which says a lot (maybe my dog really IS the most special dog in the world)! Their location is always clean and welcoming, with treats for animals and humans. My dog looks forward to his visits every time! They also offer a companion app, which I don't use, but it seems helpful for people who use apps. Instead I rely on the once-a-month email I received from them reminding me of medication renewals or other pertinent care items for my dog.

Don't be more than 15 min late. I live in Farmington, NM. There is a lot of construction between Farmington and Durango, CO. On the day of my appointment, not only was there construction, but it was raining extremely hard. So I was 23 minutes late, which is 8 minutes past their 15-minute late policy. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I was not upset when they canceled my appointment. It was my fault for being late anyway. Riverview Animal Hospital has treated me and my families animals so great that I would give them a 10 star review if I could. They are amazing people who actually care about your fur babies. I would highly recommend Riverview Animal Hospital. Don't risk taking your fur babies anywhere else in the Four Corners area!

I had an emergency with my Tea cup poodle (Misty) and the vet tech was very nice and knowledgeable. Found the problem fast and had the issue fix and I was on my way. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was calming. Will go back...

We had an amazing experience at Riverview Animal Hospital. Our dog has high anxiety and he was calmer than usual during his first vet visit here. The vet tech was very friendly, calm and knowledgeable, as was the vet. Both made us feel very good about the care our dog received.

Very professional staff and super friendly :) The entire place felt home-like and welcoming. A tad bit pricey, but it was worth it. They let us know there will be a future dental surgery for our kitty, but provided all the paperwork, an estimate on pricing, and some goodies for him! He got a toothbrush, toothpaste and treats. Although I was worried for my boy, the experience was calm and reassuring. I will for sure be taking my cats there again!
