Sobre

Eagle Rock Animal Emergency is a privately woman-owned curbside animal emergency hospital proudly serving Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. We’re dedicated to making our patients feel as calm, safe, and comfortable as possible, treating each pet as if they were our own. Our goal is to provide stress-free services for pets and their owners. Curbside service provides a convenient way for pets to receive care while their owners remain comfortably in their vehicles. Rather than waiting in a crowded, anxiety-filled waiting room, owners can stay in their car while we focus on delivering personalized attention to each pet, helping to ease their stress and ensure they receive the best care possible. We do make exceptions for humane euthanasia.

If you love your pet, do NOT bring them here. I rushed my sick cat here and simply asked to come inside for the exam. They said they’d ask, then came out and said no so I said ok I’ll wait in the car. At that point the doctor refused to see my cat and sent me to a different clinic. You don’t have to be a vet to know that time is of the essence when it comes to pet emergencies. I asked to speak to the vet but was refused. Turning away a sick pet from an emergency clinic just because the owner asked to be with them is insane, extremely weird and cruel behavior. If I could give negative stars, I would. Steer clear of this place! Regarding the reply below, I was not demanding to be with my cat - I just asked if it was possible- and literally said I had no problem waiting in the car after I was told it wasn’t possible to come in at which point they’d already decided to refuse us. Unhinged.

I’ve had the privilege of working with this owner for over two years, and I can confidently say that if you bring your pet into their clinic, you can rest assured knowing that your animal will receive the best possible care. You’re in excellent hands! 😎

First things first: nobody ever wants to wind up needing an emergency vet. But when you do, you want a place that treats you and your animal companion with respect and care in a stressful situation, as opposed to a money-making opportunity. Everyone from the people who answered the phones to the vet techs and Dr. Kennedy were incredibly kind and supportive. This particular practice used to be owned by someone else and the one time I did have to go a few years ago, it was much worse, so I was a bit reluctant to go back until I realized there had been a change in ownership. The one thing that feels a bit odd is that everything is done in your car, so you never see the vet in person and only talk over the phone. The vet techs take your pet in the parking lot and you wait in your car until the doctor calls you back. It worked fine, but did feel a bit strange not to talk face to face with the vet.
