Animal Specialty Group Inc: Sullivan Stacey DVM en Los Angeles

My dog needed urgent care and I was lucky enough to find this place. Staff was communicative, helpful, and patient. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly. Payment was simple and straight forward.

This place is my go-to for emergencies. Even when all the other closer emergency vets were booked for months or many hours for walkins, I had little trouble getting my pets in. Their prices seem okay but they aren't cheap by any means. This is the place I'd recommend if you were serious about the health of your pet. The service does seem to range from excellent to very meh and I actually saw the range during my last visit. When I brought my cat in, met multiple times with the vet, etc. everything was excellent. When I was picking up my cat, it was actually really poor service; They didn't know which carrier was mine so I waited an extra long time. I was just given my cat after waiting an unusually long time. I then asked about the medications and then had to wait again while they figured it out. Then I left. I didn't get any kind of discharge meeting with the vet. I didn't get any discharge information from a tech or intern. In the past, there was always someone to explain the meds to me as part of the discharge; I think the people next to me were getting their discharge info so I suspect my experience was caused by a mix up or poorly trained techs. I would still recommend this place if you were serious about the health of your pet.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. Our dogs were playing and Grace tore her ligaments in her hind leg and damaged the meniscus as well. She couldnt put any wait on it at all. Took her too an emergency vet for diagnosis. Then to Animal Specialty Group. Amazing results! The whole staff there are wonderful. Grace is able to walk again. We are so thankful for what they did.

First off, parking lot was good size and when you park there is numbers as your space and it tells you to call. I called at 2:04 pm because my dog had an appointment and someone came to get my dog at 2:35pm to take him inside. They told us he needed to see another specialist and that maybe he has a brain tumor. I am unsure how staff is inside since you aren't allowed in, but I am having a hard time believing my dog has a tumor or had a stroke without actually seeing a doctor look at him in front of me.

Our scary endeavor ended once we got our beloved furry family member Simon once we arrived at the hospitals parking! Not only do they practice excellent covid guidelines right from the gates but they also cured our little Simon. They we're on top of calling us to keep us informed and updated of his condition. And when Simon was ready to come back home they efficiently explained after care and medications. Happy update Simon is doing just fine!!!!

Happy with my experience. My Rottweiler needed a TPLO Surgery. After I called 3 different hospitals, I chose to go with Animal Specialty Group. They have made follow up calls and asked how my Rottie is doing and how he's recovering. I highly recommend this place. Staff are friendly and helpful!
