Modern Animal - La Brea en Los Angeles

Been in LA for about 9 months, and was honestly dreading a vet visit because my dog is anxious/reactive. Decided to try out Modern Animal. First visit a couple months ago was to the downtown location which was good. But today I went to LaBrea and will definitely make this our primary location as it’s closer to home. Easy to schedule appointments, check out your pet’s medical history, view invoices on the app! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or patient. The team provided us with all the resources and support to help Roz crush her vet exam. They made it clear that her comfort, safety and health were top priority. Instead of feeling anxious & overwhelmed (me, not the dog lol), I was able to relax and focus on her treatment which was a great relief. I’m actually looking forward to bringing her back just to say hi! Also, don’t be intimidated by the yearly subscription fee - it pays for itself in 2 visits. Had a great first experience at Modern Animal La Brea with Dr Richard and Jacklyn! I’m a new pet owner with a 3 month old kitten and they made the process super easy, and took great immediate care of Bowie.

couldn't have had a better experience. it’s a pleasant place to be with your pet, the team there is efficient, clear, kind, and very liberal with their treat giving 🥰 having a membership here makes me feel so at ease that anything me and Odor could need will be taken care of. thanks y’all!

This is the veterinary experience I’ve been looking for. Cost, exceptional, care amazing. I will scream this from the highest mountain to anybody that needs a vet recommendation. I have never had an animal triaged before treatment the way that Modern Animal does what a gift

I really like this location. The technician J.P. is great with my dog and always very accommodating. Dr. Chang and Dr. Yi are extremely attentive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location.

Ive been with them for 3 years now. They are a Lifesaver!! I have a sr dog. I was getting worried about vet visit costs on top of any tests/meds etc my dog might need. Thank god modern animal arrived! The annual membership allows me to bring my dog in as often as i need! The membership pays for itself in a few visits! Such a relief! Thank you!
